In trying to get titanium backup to save to the SD card I see marshmallow has no WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to modify with an SD fix app. I found this on other forums here...
Use es explorer & create a folder on your SD card for the backup.
Go into titanium backup, preferences , backup folder location.
Above the detect button you see storage provider, touch that.
Select DocumentProvider storage
Select the SD card from the open from menu
Then select the folder you created first and touch USE THE CURRENT FOLDER
restart backup, double check the folder is still there & you're all set.
Hope this helps
