I used to be able to tap the Google Now microphone icon or long press my BT headset button, say "call Mom Smith home", and it would dial her number. Since the last few days all I get are Google search results for "call Mom Smith home". Since she only has one number, I tried just "call Mom Smith". That also brought up Google search results for "call Mom Smith" but below that were her contact info and the blue phone icon to call her with.
The above works to call my Google Voice number at least, but I haven't tried any others. I have cleared cache and data for Contacts and Contacts Storage, but those didn't make any difference.
I haven't had any significant updates since the August Security Update, although after this started happening, I got a Google update yesterday. I hoped that might fix it, but according to the description it only adds the ability to play doodle games, lol!
Is this happening to anyone else, or any suggestions to fix or troubleshoot this? I don't see anything helpful in logcat.
