[GUIDE][Android N]How to flash ZIPs on encrypted partition with Android N Preview

Hello guys,
As you probably know, TWRP can't (yet?) write on encrypted partitions, so if you use a passcode or Nexus Imprint, while on Android N Preview, TWRP won't start at all and will leave you unable to flash ZIP files.

I found a workaround - maybe it was well known, but I couldn't find anything about that, and I'm excited it works!
  • Install Android N Preview (you can use the included .sh file or whatever, but you can flash anything!).
  • Don't boot yet - and if you do, don't set any passcode. Go to the boot loader.
  • Flash TWRP as usual.
  • Run Recovery. TWRP will execute and will load successfully.
  • Install SuperSU Beta from TWRP. TWRP supports MTP mode so you can load the SuperSU ZIP file directly from recovery!
  • Once it's done, reboot! You can now encrypt your device as you wish.
  • Install FlashFire.
  • FlashFire will be able to install ZIP files without running the "standard" recovery mode. It does not reboot the device so the partition doesn't get unmounted.

Give it a try! It seems to work for me, I installed the AdAway fix and the new Google Nexus launcher and it worked flawlessly!
Let me know :D
