Long story short, I have 2 US unlocked HTC 10s here. Both are replacements from HTC. Both should be carbon gray. The darker one is a used phone from HTC. The lighter one came in mint condition in retail packaging through Uh-Oh protection. Maybe the lighter one is a refurbished component? I remember the very first HTC 10 I had was the darker one. Now I am stuck with the lighter one =[
