I purchased the Axon 7 and I really liked it, but the bootloader on the device is locked and personally feeling that you paid for it, it is your device, you should be able to do with what you want. So I wrote to the company, ZTE, and asked them if there was going to be an unlock. This is there response.
"Dear Valued ZTE Customer
Thanks for contacting ZTE.
We would like to inform you that, we do not provide any bootloaders to the customers.
Since we follow a very strict warranty policy, we maintain that any changes to the user interface of the device done by the customers, would voids warranty on them.
Which we basically refer as rooting, and hence we do not support or recommend that to the customer either.
Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards!"
The bootloader will not be unlocked and I have returned my phone.
