The HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ are the new HTC phones on the block. They were announced just last week. The Vivo V9 is another new phone that was announced last week as well. We've got the forums for these fresh devices open and ready for new users and developers to get started.
The Desire 12 has a 5.5-inch 18:9 display, while the Desire 12+ has a slightly larger 6-inch display. The resolution for both is 1440×720. The regular Desire 12 is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 and the 12+ has the Snapdragon 450. These are mid-range devices with 2-3GB of RAM, 16-32GB of storage, and 13MP cameras. The Desire 12 ships with Nougat while the 12+ ships with Oreo.
The Vivo V9 has a 6.3-inch display with the infamous display notch. It's a 19:9 display with 2280×180 resolution. Inside is a Snapdragon 626 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The phone also has a 16+5MP dual camera setup, 24MP camera on the front, "AI features," 3260 mAh battery, and Android Oreo. Check out the forums below to get started.
