I just joined this site to seek some help. In 2013 after the upgrade of 4.1.2 android (jellybeans) my phone became useless for use as it ran very very slow and ate battery like there was no tomorrow. I put it away and bought me another phone. But after several years I took it out again to see if I could start using it again. But not in its present condition. I read on many forums about it and obviously I am not the only one complaining. The best suggestion I have found is to downgrade it back to ICS 4.04 (Icecream sandwich). But I cannot find the firmware for Canada..I did find firmware for UK but not sure what will be the consequences if I installed that built. The other day I successfully rooted the device with SuperSu but made no difference to speed or battery drain. So I seek help in locating version 4.04 desperately. Please help revive this phone and be gentle as I am new to Android world. Cheers:confused:
