My dad has a problem with his new LG G4 Beat (G4s) running Android 5.1.1.
When you talk to him there is an annoying high frequency buzzing noise which you can hear after whenever he has finished saying something. Just to clarify, my father isn't the one hearing this sound, it is us who call him up who can hear this. Several people have reported this using different phones. But strangely enough the sound disappears when he in certain locations. Also, if he uses handsfree, then the sound disappears completely.
Technical support has attempted to fix the phone several times, they've done factory resets, they've changed the motherboard and the microphone, but the annoying sound remains. I've tried switching off data, wifi, (including wifi scanning), gps, to no avail. We've also tried using different SIM cards in the phone with different mobile network operators, but the buzzing sounds remain.
Any ideas about what the problem is here?
