OG5, OG7, PC1, what does that mean?

What the hell does it mean..

You need to be on OG5, OG7, PC1 in order to use this ROM.

I see these three letter words being used all over XDA, and nobody has an explanation what it means.

I want to use [ROM][6.0.1][TRLTESPR] Emotion AOSP R4 [OFFICIAL] for my SM-N910P (Note 4) phone. But I'm already on 6.0.1

I admit it, that I was rooted, and unrooted my phone because I wanted to use the OTG cable, and did not think that an OTG cable would work on a rooted, custom rom install.

Would it work on a custom, rooted ROM on my phone? An OTG Cable..?

This is what I have right now..

It's "baseband" version N910PVPU4DPC1, so it's PC1, whatever the hell that means, because I honestly DO NOT KNOW.

All I know.. Is that baseband is unrooted, it's a stock Samsung Galaxy Note 4 ROM. That's all I know. I don't know it's relationship to OG5, or whatever..

I don't know what the difference is between OG5, OG7, and PC1, etc. etc.

I would like a better understanding of those three letters for a baseband.

What do they mean? what is the difference between one and another three letter baseband thing?
