Hi, I have a broken radio/antenna and will probably have to repair or replace some hardware elements in my Nexus 5. However, I have another Nexus 5 with a broken display and fully working internals and I want to switch out some hardware parts if neccessary.
Now I want to avoid mixing up the IMEI of the both devices for privacy reasons. Could someone hint me which part I should avoid switching between the two devices to ensure both remain with their original IMEI? Is it the motherboard, or is there a special chip / memory?
It's both a D821 32GB device.
Also, if you have good hints on where to start checking for celular radio issues regarding hardware, let me know. I already checked several software setups and all turn out with the same issue, thus I assume the hardware problems.
