When casting the screen from Chrome in Windows 7, the receiving chromecast stutters, and drops frames. When it casts a tab directly, it is very smooth, has no problems at all.
Why is this? Is there any way to get that same smooth performance while casting the whole screen, while maintaining the same quality as before?
Am prepared to root (though it looks a bit of a nightmare) if necessary, but just wondering what software (if any) can achieve this. Thanks
