Gmail Notifications

I updated gmail today to the latest version. Before I got notifications on gear 2. Now not at all. Is this a known issue? My gmail notifications with preview were working perfectly before I updated today.

Any cure?

I have checked and gmail is checked under notifications in gear 2. Any other ideas?
